On April 15th, our consortium partner MTI will be holding an introductory workshop on deep learning at the digitalHUB.

It will deal with the basics and methods of deep learning and their practical applications.

MTI-Workshop: Deep Dive ins Deep Learning – Grundlagen interaktiv erleben  

Deep learning is the engine behind many modern AI applications - from image and speech recognition to autonomous driving. But how do artificial neural networks actually work? What mechanisms are behind their impressive capabilities?

In this interactive workshop organised by the Manufacturing Technology Institute, we take a deep dive into the world of deep learning. We will teach the theoretical basics and explain key concepts such as neural networks, backpropagation and training algorithms - all using illustrative, interactive examples. Step by step, we will work out how deep learning models are built and trained and discuss their practical applications and challenges.

The workshop is aimed at anyone who would like to gain a deeper understanding of deep learning and who also has an affinity for maths and technical issues.
