A Successful Take-Off

Well it finally happened: The consortium partners of the EDIH Rhineland presented in our kick-off event to the Public.
Prof. Robert Schmitt showed at the beginning of the Status Quo of digitalization and structural change in the Region: The challenges here, he turned out to be opportunities for the Euregio as a whole.
The possibilities of cross-border cooperation, the guests of honor, who took their words of greeting in person and digitally to the interested visitor and project partner artner saw.
First came Mirijam Böhme of the city of Aachen, who highlighted the potential of the projkets from the point of view of the municipal administration forth. Elianne Demollin Cutter, Regional Minister of Limburg (NL), and Isabelle Weykmans, Departments of the regional administration of Eupen (Belgium), as explained in connection with the cross-border relationships. In conclusion, marked Giulia Carsaniga as a representative of the EU Commission the point of view of the European Union on the EDIH Initiative.
